後現代文章
「人們所說的後現代的東西，是虛無主義的。我們的文化和政治有一種新的野蠻和粗俗，它對意義和真理有著摧毁的作用，而後現代主義就是授予這種野蠻和粗俗以合法身分的一種思潮。他們，說世間根本沒有一種叫做意義和真理的東西。顯然我對這一點並不同意的…人們是從什麼時候開始變得這麼喜歡用標新立異的方法來描述現實呢？」

在More than One處看到這篇貽笑大方的文章，文章明顯想批評虛無主義和後現代主義中的一些思潮，然而，他沒有利用甚麼理由，只是說因為我想批評虛無主義，所以虛無主義是錯的，大概如此。想問作者的是，人們是從什麼時候開始變得這麼喜歡用本身想表達的論點作為支持其論點的理由呢？
對於後現代主義，我不甚了解，可能它揉合了各種不同的思想，只不過是基於時代性的意義才歸納於一個體系，要了解，可能要在多個方面，或者根本他們就是互相排斥。但有一點可以肯定，後現代主義是由古到今的哲學演化過程的一個階段，可惜的是對哲學毫無理解的現代人以各種奇怪的語言寫下無數未經大腦的作品供人欣賞……

May 21st, 2005 at 4:22 pmit’s been fashionable recently to talk abt susan sontag. local chinese articles on her r all over the place, not least those publications found at places like kurbrick. what i would say is, the way ppl (all of sudden) write abt her is even more complicated than sontag’s own writing and ideas, so much so that i cant help doubting the authors really know what susan sontag is all abt or what they r writing abt! chinese is not less effective than english, but the way these authors write leaves too much to be desired.
if we r interested in sontag, why not reach out to various websites on her, like this; good or not, at least it’s plain:
